Against the Grain manufactured windows, doors and joinery elements for the restoration and extension of Werrington House, a grand 1830s heritage-listed residence near Penrith.

The existing windows and doors of the Georgian-style home were exactly matched and replicated in Western Red Cedar and Rosewood with traditional features such as colonial bars, weights and cords, and lambs tongue profiles.

​Joinery elements included ceiling and wall panels with mouldings, window panels, exterior shutters, and screens.

The restoration undertaken by builder Craig Gilchrist was highly commended in the 2014 National Trust NSW Heritage Awards.
