More good news for Against the Grain Building & Renovating who have just been named a finalist for this year's HIA NSW Housing Award for Custom Built Home $2.5-$5m, for their new build project - Benison - completed earlier this year.   Against the Grain Windows & Doors can share in this accolade for supplying all the internal joinery for this exceptional building.

The winners will be announced on 20 October 2018.

  • Excellence in Sustainability

  • Customer Service Award

Winners will be announced at the gala presentation dinner on 2 November.

We are thrilled to announce that Against the Grain Building & Renovating has been named a finalist for this year's Timber Design Awards for Interior Fitout - Residential, for the exceptional craftsmanship that went into the interior of their new build project - Benison - completed earlier this year.   This is another nod to Against the Grain Windows & Doors and the custom made doors and benchtops we built for the project.

The winners will be announced on 16 October 2018.

We are pleased to advise that the Macquarie University Innovation Hub took out several awards at the Gala Dinner/Award Presentation held on 25 October in Melbourne.  Awards included direct nods to the windows, doors and facade panels built by Against the Grain Windows & Doors.  Lipman Contractors won a further three awards for this unique build.

The Macquarie University Hub, completed earlier this year, has been featured in Build Magazine, October 2017 edition (click the image above to read the full article). David Spees and Chris Duncombe are heading down to Melbourne this week to attend the Timber Design Awards Gala Dinner, where The Hub has been nominated for a number of awards. Hopefully it takes away an award or two - it certainly deserves it! We will keep you posted.
