FOUR GARDENS HOUSE
SYDNEY NSW
With a design approach of “garden first, house second”, this Sydney home delivers multiple connections to landscaped gardens via two main pavilions, connecting breezeway, and central courtyard.

Against the Grain manufactured a range of hardwood windows and doors in clear-coated New Guinea rosewood. The scope included entry, sliding, and twin stacked doors; along with fixed, double-hung, awning and sashless window units.
In the dining/living space, post-free corner stacking doors and hydraulic servery window allow complete connection with the garden. The use of solid hardwood and high performance double glazing contribute to the home’s solar passive design, increasing user comfort and energy efficiency.
