Double Hung Windows

A double hung window can either be a dramatic contemporary look or recapture traditional Australian architecture. They are practical, adaptable and beautiful.

Flexible ventilation can be achieved through the variable opening options - from the top, from the bottom or from both.

We use a concealed spring balance system to ensure that the window operates effortlessly. Also available are weight and cord balances and putty glazing if replicating heritage windows.

Being custom made, we are able to produce a timber window that will fit perfectly and compliment your home design.

Traditional hardware and colonial or federation bar layouts with the inclusion of decorative glass are perfect for heritage window styles.

A variety of glazing options are available which will allow for better insulation from the weather, some even result in lower energy expenses as well as significant noise reduction.

Timber priming (white priming) and timber framed insect screens are also available if required.
