KATOOMBA, BLUE MOUNTAINS

Against the Grain manufactured windows and doors for this cottage extension, located in a heritage conservation area of Katoomba.   

Large double sliders create interior/exterior flow to the covered verandah, with sliding windows to maximise views and natural light. All are crafted from Western Red Cedar with efficient double glazing and custom timber insect screens. 

Period-style fretwork below the window units matches the cottage’s existing decorative trim, integrating new with old. Construction by Against the Grain Building & Renovating.
