Against the Grain manufactured windows and doors for this energy efficient cottage extension, designed by Anderson Architecture.

 

Referencing the Australian ‘rural shed’, the passive design achieved an 8-star BERS Pro thermal rating, and transformed the once cold Mountains cottage into a cosy, efficient retreat.

The project, constructed by our Building & Renovating team, includes bi-fold doors, sashless windows, and custom joinery. All units are double-glazed and manufactured in solid blackbutt, contributing to the home's comfort and energy efficiency.
